There are 4 standard edges; they are seamed, pencil polish, flat polish or beveled.  

Annealed Glass:

Annealed glass is ordinary/regular glass, see "Float glass" (also called “flat” glass) that has not been heat-strengthened or tempered.  Annealed glass is less strong and more susceptible to breaking upon impact. When annealed glass breaks, it produces sharp, irregular shards, which can pose a risk of injury. As a result, annealed glass is not considered safety glass and is not typically used in applications where impact resistance is necessary or where broken glass could pose a safety hazard.  Float glass is a type of flat, transparent glass manufactured using the “float process,” where molten glass is floated on a bed of molten metal, usually tin. The result is a smooth, uniform, and distortion-free sheet of glass. The float process was invented in the 1950s by Sir Alastair Pilkington.

Laminated Glass:

Laminated glass is a type of safety glass consisting of two or more layers of glass with one or more thin polymer interlayers between them which prevent the glass from breaking into large sharp pieces. Breaking produces a characteristic "spider web" cracking pattern (radial and concentric cracks) when the impact is not enough to completely pierce the glass. 

Low-E :

Low-E is a generic term to apply to any company’s low emissivity products.  Low-E glass refers to a type of energy-efficient glass designed to prevent heat from escaping or entering a building, thereby enhancing thermal comfort and reducing energy costs. The “emissivity” of a material indicates its ability to emit infrared energy; thus the lower the emissivity, the better the ability to reflect infrared energy. Low-E glass has a microscopically thin, transparent coating—usually made of metallic or metallic oxide layers—that reflects long-wave infrared energy, or heat, instead of emitting it.

The coating reflects infrared light, keeping heat inside during winter and blocking it during summer. It allows natural light to enter, maintaining brightness without compromising energy efficiency. It reduces energy costs by improving insulation, minimizes UV exposure, protects furnishings from fading, and contributes to a more comfortable indoor environment year-round.

Low-iron:

Low-iron glass is a type of glass specially produced to contain less iron oxide than standard "clear" glass. The presence of iron oxide in the glass results in a slight greenish tint, which is not always noticeable but can become more apparent in thicker or multi-layered glass constructions.

Due to the reduction of impurities, low-iron glass has a clarity and transparency that ordinary glass cannot achieve. For this reason, low-iron glass is especially popular for architecturally designed buildings to provide a clear view and a neutral appearance that blends seamlessly with the existing surroundings.

Mirror:

 Clear mirror is standard float glass backed with a silver or aluminum reflective layer.  Industry standard thicknesses are 1/8" or 1/4".
